As the diagnosis of ADHD becomes more and more prevalent there are increased numbers of ADHD students in the classroom. This has led to many challenges for parents, teachers and students. These challenges are not insurmountable but do require a bit of creativity and flexibility to overcome them.

A learning disability can include ADHD (Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder), Auditory Processing Disorders, Dyscalculia (Math), Dysgraphia (Writing), Dyslexia (Reading), Dyspraxia (Motor Skills), Executive Function (Mental Processes), Information Processing Disorders, and Visual Processing Disorders.

At a young age children can sometimes tear through the house like a tornado, leaving a wake of destruction in their path. Especially young boys enjoy roughhousing, climbing on furniture and seemingly lose interest in their toys after only several minutes. For many parents these years are exhausting but time limited.
