Holistic coaching that builds study skills, organization, and self-advocacy for students in Arizona and California.
A strong IEP or 504 plan is only half the equation — your child also needs skills. Ballou Education’s special education coaching works alongside school-based services to help students with disabilities, ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and twice-exceptional (2e) profiles build the study skills, organizational habits, and self-advocacy confidence they need to succeed in and out of the classroom.
Our coaching is holistic by design. We look at the whole student — academics, executive functioning, social-emotional wellbeing, and how your child actually experiences school — rather than tutoring a single subject. Because we are educational advocates first, our coaches understand the IEP and 504 process, and we align our skill-building work with the goals written in your child’s plan so school, home, and coaching all reinforce the same objectives.
We intentionally work with a limited number of students each year so that every family receives our full attention and a coaching plan that is truly individualized. Sessions are held with students directly, with parents kept informed at every step, and can take place in person at our Scottsdale or Beverly Hills offices or online for families anywhere in Arizona and California.
